Agave nectar
Why is it unhealthy?
1. High Fructose Content: Agave nectar is high in fructose, which can have negative effects on metabolic health when consumed in excess. Excess fructose consumption has been linked to an increased risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and other health issues.
2. High Caloric Content: Despite its lower glycemic index, agave nectar is still high in calories and should be consumed in moderation. Consuming too much of it can lead to weight gain and other health issues associated with a high-calorie diet.
3. Processing Methods: Some brands of agave nectar may be highly processed and contain added sugars or other additives. This can contribute to an overall unhealthy diet.

Allulose
Allulose is a sweetener that can be found naturally in some foods, such as figs, raisins, and maple syrup, but the majority of allulose available on the market is produced through a manufacturing process from corn.
During this process, enzymes are used to convert the natural sugars found in corn into allulose. This process is considered a form of food processing, as the corn undergoes a series of chemical and enzymatic reactions to produce allulose.
It is not yet clear if this ingredient is healthy. It is currently banned on the cleanfoodsquad site.
Aluminum
Some studies have suggested that exposure to high levels of aluminum may have negative health effects, particularly on the brain and nervous system. For example, some research has linked aluminum to Alzheimer's disease, although the exact role of aluminum in this condition is still unclear and controversial.
Moreover, exposure to high levels of aluminum can cause respiratory problems, such as asthma and lung fibrosis, and it may also lead to bone and kidney problems in people with pre-existing conditions. Some baking powders and baking mixes may contain aluminum compounds, which help to leaven the dough and create a lighter texture. Some processed cheeses contain aluminum as an emulsifier to improve their texture and appearance.
Artificial Flavoring
Artificial flavorings are typically created in a laboratory using various chemicals to mimic the taste of natural flavors. Some artificial flavors may contain high levels of synthetic compounds not found in nature and could potentially harm human health. Furthermore, artificial flavorings are often used in processed and packaged foods high in sugar, salt, and unhealthy fats, which are already linked to various health problems like obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.
Artificial Sweeteners
There is ongoing debate and research about the potential health effects of artificial sweeteners, and some concerns have been raised about their safety and potential negative impact on health.
One concern is that artificial sweeteners may disrupt the body's natural ability to regulate calorie intake and blood sugar levels. Some studies have suggested that consuming artificial sweeteners may lead to weight gain and an increased risk of conditions like obesity, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome.
Additionally, some people may experience negative side effects from consuming artificial sweeteners, such as headaches, digestive problems, and allergic reactions.
